Thanks for the reply. Although it can be used for other applications, the project was born primarily as a library for use in games, and games make up the majority of software using Box2D.
I think most of us are quite aware that users are thrown in the deep end with box2d, and this probably loses us a lot of casual flash developers. Would you consider contributing your tutorial to the wiki? If you are interested in writing tutorials yourself, I would love to start a collaboration to write a Box2DFlash v2 documentation when the time comes.
